Payment Services

It is recommended that you accept one payment method that does not require a customer’s credit card information to be submitted. Examples include PayPal, AfterPay or Zip Pay.

Buy Now Pay Later services are extremely popular with buyers of luxury pet supplies, however these services incur significantly higher transaction fees compared to traditional credit card processing services. Be conscious of the thin profit margins in pet food and healthcare products when deciding to offer a Pay Later option.

If your eCommerce platform does not include credit card processing, we use and highly recommend Stripe.

Updating Stock Levels

Like any business that buys and sells goods, Agline will occasionally run out of stock of particular items. To avoid situations where you’ve sold something  that we don’t have available, you should frequently update your stock levels to match what we have on hand.

We publish a CSV spreadsheet containing our stock levels that updates automatically every 5 minutes. Most eCommerce or inventory management systems should be able to digest CSV formatted data, but you might require the help of someone technically-minded to get it set up.

Shopify users can use Stock Sync for Shopify to automatically keep their stock levels up to date. For WooCommerce Stores, we recommend WP All Import.

In order to get the stock sync working, your product SKUs must exactly match the products SKUs used by Agline.
